How You Can Help

Disaster relief takes more than chainsaws and tarps - it takes people. Whether you’re on the frontlines cutting through debris or behind the scenes coordinating logistics, your skills can make a difference between despair and hope.

Where You Can Serve

Disaster Relief takes all kinds of skills, both in the field and behind the scenes. No matter your background, there’s a place for you on the team.

Field Teams

  • Team Leads - guiding crews and ensuring safe, effective operations.

  • Chainsaw Teams - clearing fallen trees and opening access routes.

  • Access & Aid Crews - reaching hard-hit areas and delivering essentials.

  • Clean-Up Crews - removing debris and helping families begin recovery.

  • Site Coordinators - organizing volunteers and resources at the ground level.

  • Search & Rescue - assisting in locating and helping those in danger.

  • Recon Members - scouting conditions and reporting critical needs.

Support Teams

  • Volunteer Coordinators - connecting people to the right opportunities.

  • Regional Coordinators - building and leading response networks in your area.

  • Administrative Help - keeping operations organized and running smoothly.

  • Grant Writing - helping secure resources for ongoing missions.

  • Website/Marketing - sharing stories, raising awareness, and mobilizing support.

  • Logistics/Communications - managing supplies, information, and coordination.

The Process

All volunteers complete an online application and background check. Once approved, you’ll gain access to training opportunities and be assigned to a field or support role. Whether you’re wielding chainsaws, coordinating logistics, or writing grants, your time and skills will directly impact families in crisis.
